Have you ever slept under a wool blanket that was grown, sheared, carded, spun and woven by your great-grandmother? Or handled the ice saw that your great-great grandfather used to cut winter pond ice for cooling summer drinks before refrigeration? Countless times friends and acquaintances have remarked with envy on the vast amount of information we have about our family. Thanks to our thrifty Yankee ancestors, who threw nothing away, we have artifacts, photographs, diaries, hotel ledgers and registers, and letters belonging not only to our parents, but also as far back as our great-great grandparents on both sides of the family. The Boothman Sisters are thankful for the preservation of their family history and are proud to share with you a bit of nostalgia. The interest of so many people has convinced us to share our family legacy with you. Become a part of a three-dimensional family history experience – Appreciate folk art figures capturing a Moment in Time, (what was your grandmother’s promise to her mother about dating?).
